Two Campton United Girls teams win state cup

On Nov. 12, two Campton United Soccer Club Girls' Teams won the Illinois State Cup Championships in Rockford, while a third Campton United Girls team was a finalist in a State Cup championship game. The Campton United Soccer Club is based out of St. Charles.

The age group of 2000 Campton United Girls USYS 1 were crowned the 2017 Illinois Youth Soccer Association State Cup Champions Nov. 12 with a 3-0 win over the 2000 FC United from Northbrook.

The age group 2001 Campton United Girls USYS 1 also were crowned 2017 IYSA State Cup Champions with a 4-0 win over the 2001 FC United from Northbrook.

The age group 2002 Campton United Girls USYS 1 were one of the final two teams left standing in the 2017 IYSA State Cup Championship game but lost to 2002 Eclipse ECNL from Oak Brook.

The Illinois State Cup is the most prestigious soccer tournament in Illinois and the official state championship tournament of the U.S. Youth Soccer National Championship Series.

Campton United Soccer Club is the only certified U.S. Soccer Academy Club in the western suburbs and is the home of the 2015 and 2016 U-18 Boys National Champions
