Friday Speaker: Fixing Climate Change

With storms becoming more violent and world temperatures becoming more extreme, Zanillo discusses "Fixing Climate Change with Solutions We Can All Like."

Points he will cover include how will climate change impact the Chicago area, what climate solutions exist, how a solution can create jobs, grow GDP, increase household income and improve US competitiveness and what can citizens do to fight climate change

"After participating in our meetings, participants often feel more informed, energized and hopeful for a future stable climate," says Zanillo. He is a retired IT executive with a degree in Economics from the University of Chicago and a volunteer with Citizens' Climate Lobby.

Lake Zurich Rotary Club meets on Fridays at 12:15 p.m. at the Foglia YMCA, 1025 N. Old McHenry Rd., Lake Zurich. Lunch is free for guests.
