Annual Rover Rescue Garage Sale returns Aug. 3-5

The annual Rover Rescue Garage Sale is an opportunity for shopaholics and bargain hunters to indulge to their hearts' content. Follow the other savvy shoppers to 326 Sharon Lane in North Aurora from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, Aug. 3-5.

Rover Rescue, a nonprofit all-volunteer group, holds this fundraiser to provide medical treatment and care for homeless dogs and puppies rescued from high-kill shelters.

All merchandise is donated and and donations are being accepted now. Rover Rescue is looking for contributions of household goods, tools, sports equipment, kitchen utensils, glassware, toys, baby furniture, baskets, holiday decorations, small appliances and paperbacks, as well as clothing and other items. Due to space limitations, upholstered furniture and large appliances cannot be accepted.

Drop off your donations now, then shop at one of the biggest and best shopping events in to help Rover Rescue's homeless dogs. The rescue group provides care and placement of dogs into loving new homes. All dogs available for adoption through Rover Rescue can be seen at RoverRescue.org.
