Prospect Heights Library to host LifeSource blood drive Aug. 26

Stop by LifeSource's "Give a Pint, Get a Pint" blood drive from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, at the Prospect Heights Public Library, 12 N. Elm St.

Anyone age 17 and up (or 16 with parental consent) can participate.

The Prospect Heights Library is teaming up with LifeSource and Culver's to help replenish dangerously low blood supplies.

Donate a pint of blood during critical demand this summer season and you will receive a coupon valid for one free pint of Culver's fresh frozen custard, and find out your blood type for free!

Appointments are preferred and taken first, though walk-ins ar welcome. Bring a proper photo ID, list of your current medications, a list of places visited outside the U.S. in the last three years, and a friend to donate with you!

Come out and support a great cause by donating blood to help save a life!
