Fox Valley Presbyterian taking donations for rummage sale

Fox Valley Presbyterian Church in Geneva is accepting donations for its rummage sale. They will begin accepting donated items on Monday, July 17.

They are accepting: antiques; baby and children's items; toys, games, puzzles and children's books; women's and children's clothing; small furniture items (rugs, lamps, end tables, etc.); holiday decorations; artwork and decorative items; jewelry and accessories; kitchen items and housewares; linens; small electrical appliances; garden tools; and craft items.

They cannot accept: large furniture (dining sets, TV cabinets, couches, beds, etc.); large appliances; books (children's books are OK); men's clothing; sporting goods (small children's items are OK); weapons; hazardous/flammable materials; construction materials; automobile parts; TVs and computer monitors; and car seats or cribs.

The sale will be Friday, July 28 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m., and Saturday, July 29, from 8 a.m. to noon at the church, 227 East Side Drive, Geneva. There will be something for everyone, including clothing, jewelry, children's items, linens, housewares, holiday items, collectibles, decorations, DVDs, tools, and bakery goodies.

All of the profits go directly to the missions of the church. All remaining items are donated to another mission to continue to help others.
