Sign up for wine, cheese tasting with professional cheese monger

From fresh to aged, bloomy to bleu, come and sample 10 types of artisan cheeses from around the world while sipping wine in a beautiful garden setting.

On Saturday, June 24, professional cheese monger Marge Porter will enlighten participants about each cheese's characteristics and how it pairs with wine and other foods. The program will be at 5:30 p.m. at the church, 994 N. Fifth Ave. (Route 25). Porter is an American Cheese Society certified cheese professional.

Delicious appetizers and desserts round out the menu. Cheesy stories and lively discussion make a fun and informative way to develop and nurture your love of cheese.

Cost is $50 per person, which includes 10 cheese samples, wine, appetizers, dessert, and coffee.

All proceeds go to the youth ministry of St. Charles Episcopal Church.
