Eakin Schoolhouse Art Contest winners named

Winners were announced for the first Resource Bank Eakin Schoolhouse Art Contest.

Three local students from Hampshire schools were chosen to have their artwork on display for one year in the Eakin Schoolhouse Community Room. The winners are: 7-year-old Cassie Gatza, and 10-year-old Ava Glinski and Brooke Parke.

The theme of this year's art contest was "Life in My Town," and each winner received recognition for their work and a $50 gift card.

The Eakin Schoolhouse Community Room is located at the Resource Bank Hampshire Branch, 135 W. Oak Knoll Drive.

Local community residents, nonprofit groups and civic and service organization are welcome to use this space free of charge.
