FBI: Suspect in 4 bank robberies strikes again in Des Plaines

A suspect in several bank robberies is believed to have struck again in Des Plaines Friday, the FBI said.

A white man in his 20s robbed the Fifth Third Bank, 845 S. Elmhurst Road, at 5:38 p.m., according to the FBI.

The FBI said it is the same suspect in other robberies: July 22 at Fifth Third Bank, 7150 Mannheim Road, Rosemont; Jan. 12 at Fifth Third Bank, 2323 63rd St., Woodridge; Feb. 3 at Fifth Third Bank, 1645 Larkin Ave., Elgin; and June 30 at Chase Bank, 175 McHenry Road, Buffalo Grove.

He is described as 5-foot-8-inches to 6-foot-1-inches tall with a thin to medium build and brown hair.
