Lake Zurich funeral home to hold grand opening
Davenport Family Funeral Homes and Crematory will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony and reception at its new Lake Zurich location.
The event takes place at 3 p.m., Friday, Nov. 17, at 941 S. Old Rand Road, Lake Zurich.
Owners Jack Davenport and his wife, Lisa, also have funeral homes in Barrington and Crystal Lake.
Lake Zurich approved the plans for the project about three years ago. The business operates on a 5-acre site on South Old Rand Road. It's near the Lexington of Lake Zurich seniors facility and two churches.
