New dental practice opens in Lake in the Hills
It's been a place to pick out your favorite movies on DVD and even VHS.
Then it was the spot to pick out your Halloween costume for the year.
Now the space at 261 N. Randall Road on the east side of the Randall Road corridor in Lake in the Hills is home to a new dental office.
Compassionate Dental Care opened in the building in March of this year. It is in the strip center just south of Jersey Mike's subs and Yumz frozen yogurt, and just in front of the AMC movie theater.
The dental practice serves many longtime customers, who visited its previous location 1.7 miles away in Algonquin when it was called All Smiles Dental.
Dr. Tim Stirneman said he loves the new location, which will allow the practice to serve even more customers in the area.
As a longtime resident of Algonquin, he visited the video store that previously occupied the building, he said, and thinks of that some times now that he sees the state-of-the-art dental practice he's built inside of the building.
"It's a great location. We're really happy with it. It's a great way for us to be a part of the community," Stirneman said.
When Stirneman and his colleagues moved their dental practice, they also rebranded, he said.
They say the new name is a better representation of the practice's philosophy, as Compassionate Dental Care associates take time to work with patients on what they need.
The dental business offers all types of services from preventive dentistry to cosmetic dentistry. They also offer emergency dental work.
"Our customers are telling us they love the new location," he said.
