Waubonsee Community College to offer wedding planner course

Waubonsee Community College is offering the chance to become a certified wedding and event planner.

The "Become a Certified Wedding and Event Planner" course will be held on Thursday evenings from Feb. 16 to May 4 at the college's Sugar Grove campus, off Route 47 in Sugar Grove.

In partnership with the Lovegevity Wedding Planning Institute, students will learn the business, networking and client relationship management skills required to succeed in this growing industry. The course fee includes all materials, as well as an online resource center, certificate exam fee and certification designation.
