Get tips on winter photos with Elgin 360 Photography Club

Photography enthusiasts of all skill levels are invited to learn, share, teach and photograph life in all of its 360-degree glory. The Elgin 360 Photography Club, open to all, meets each month at Gail Borden Public Library, 270 N. Grove Ave., Elgin. The meetings feature free presentations and discussions on a variety of photography topics.

The next meeting will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 12, in the main library's Elgin Room, 270 N. Grove Ave. in Elgin.

Professional photographer James Kalemis will demonstrate how to take beautiful winter photos.

Next month's meetings will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, in which attendees can learn how to photograph the moon and create striking images utilizing cameras and/or a telescope. No experience is necessary to attend meetings.
