Hanover Park man pleads guilty to Schaumburg burglary spree

The second of two men who prosecutors say engaged in a burglary spree last February pleaded guilty Tuesday to the charges, court records show.

Glenn Frost, 24, of Hanover Park, pleaded guilty to multiple burglary counts and was sentenced to four years in prison, according to court records.

He received credit for time he has spent in custody since his arrest, court records show.

According to prosecutors, Frost and Armando Rivera, 33, of Lombard, smashed windows at a food and liquor store in the 800 block of Roselle Road, a fast-food restaurant in the 700 block of East Schaumburg Road and a motorcycle shop in the 1400 block of North Meacham Road during the early morning of Feb. 7, 2016.

The men took cash and merchandise totaling more than $3,000.

In addition to those counts, Frost pleaded guilty to burglarizing a car and a garage, prosecutors said.

Rivera pleaded guilty in July and was sentenced to four years in prison with recommendation for a boot camp.
