Glenbard West invites community to tour classroom addition on Sept. 8

The community is invited to tour the Glenbard West High School classroom addition on Thursday, Sept. 8.

During an open house from 5 to 7 p.m. Sept. 8, community members may tour the classroom addition and see this innovative learning space. Students will demonstrate work they're doing in the new science labs, and refreshments will be served.

The new classroom wing includes chemistry and physics classrooms, a green roof, and photography lab and dark room. Glenbard West teachers and administrators are excited about how the new classroom wing will enhance students' learning opportunities and they're eager to show community members the addition.

On Aug. 22, Glenbard West students and staff returned to a school with air conditioning and a state-of-the-art classroom addition. This was made possible by the community's support of Glenbard District 87's March 2014 referendum to make capital improvements to all of its buildings.
