Jesiel Joins Congressman Dold, Others for Tour of Bull Creek Project
On Monday afternoon, State Representative Sheri Jesiel (R-Winthrop Harbor) joined Congressman Bob Dold, Beach Park Mayor John Hucker, the Lake County Stormwater Management Commission and the Bull Creek Stakeholders Association for a tour of Bull Creek in Beach Park.
The Stormwater Management Commission recently received a federal grant that will help restore and stabilize areas of Bull Creek that have been severely eroded. This project will play a critical role in protecting the stability of homes along the creek and preserving the ecosystem of this valuable Lake Michigan tributary which is part of a system that provides safe drinking water for 35 million Americans.
