The free equestrian camp days are a savings of $15 per day for Kane County residents or $25 per day for nonresidents.

Equestrian camping amenities include larger parking areas, water spigots, fire rings, picnic shelter and restrooms.

Big Rock Campground, connected to Big Rock Forest Preserve, also includes nearly five miles of trails open for riding. Big Rock Campground is located at 46W499 Granart Road, Big Rock.

Paul Wolff Campground includes the same camping amenities, along with 9 miles of trails open for riding. The campground, within Burnidge Forest Preserve, is at 38W235 Big Timber Road, Elgin.
