Help Caring Women's Connection with backpacks

You may know the Caring Women's Connection provides holiday gifts to the women and children in Lake County shelters through their Holiday Helpers Program. But they also provide backpacks, complete with all the essentials, to those children in August.

Many of these children are changing schools and some have just escaped domestic violence. It is a stressful time. The CWC strives to brighten this time by making sure they have a nice, new backpack filled with everything their teacher has requested. Each one even has their name on it.

You can support the CWC in this program by sponsoring a child through a monetary donation.

Backpacks and their contents are $25 each for grade schoolers, $40 for middle schoolers, and $60 for high schoolers.
