Night life events: Start July 4th weekend with live music, drink specials

Sealed With a Kiss plays at Diamond Jim's beginning at 8 p.m. Friday, July 3. Drink specials include $3.50 domestic mini pitchers, $3.25 Blue Moon drafts and $4 margaritas. Dinner specials include a fish fry with breaded Icelandic haddock, coleslaw, and fries served with lemon and tartar sauce for $8.99. Diamond Jim's is at 325 Meier St., East Dundee. 4th of July at Gibsons

Eat and drink al fresco with Independence Day drink specials on the patio at Gibsons Bar and Steakhouse from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, July 4. Specials are: $10 Finlandia French martinis, $12 Rust Street manhattans, $18 half bottles of Sonoma Cutrer chardonnay and $10 Kir Royals.
