Kane County team heads to World Robotics Contest
Kane County 4-H and FIRST Tech Challenge Team No. 5037 got robot? has earned a coveted place at the upcoming FTC World Championship on April 22-25 in St. Louis.
The Elgin area-based team, which is made up of local teens, is ranked third out of 25 total teams advancing to the world championship from the North Super Regional.
At the super regional, got robot? took home the second-place Inspire Award, third-place Think Award, and second-place Control Award.
