Award-Winning Graphic Novelist to Appear at Arlington Heights Memorial Library

Meet award-winning author and nominee for the National Book Award, Gene Luen Yang at Arlington Heights Memorial Library on Thursday, January 29, 7-8:30 p.m. He will discuss Boxers and Saints and describe the genesis of the two-volume graphic novel project about the Boxer Rebellion. He'll talk about why historical events intrigue him and what he learned while researching. Lang's talk will be followed by questions from the audience and a book signing.
