Saint Alphonsus Ligouri hosts open house Jan. 25

Saint Alphonsus Liguori Catholic School, located at 411 N. Wheeling Road in Prospect Heights, is hosting an open house for prospective students and their parents on Sunday, Jan. 25, from 9:30 a.m. -- 2:30 p.m.

Faculty, staff and students will be on-hand to provide tours, activities and information. Prospective families are also invited to attend mass with the school families at 8:30 a.m. or 11 a.m. that day.

The open house will show students what going to school at Saint Alphonsus Liguori, a Blue Ribbon Award winning school, is like. Families will have the opportunity to tour the school and learn about its benefits:

• Pre-k through eighth grade programs focusing on academic
 excellence, service and Catholic values

• Half-day and full-day preschool

• Full day kindergarten

• Strong math, science and technology curriculum, engaging extra-curricular
 activities and no-cut athletic program

• On-site before and after school care

• High test scores and exceptional success rates at all area high schools.

Additional open house and tour opportunities are available Wednesday, Jan. 28, from 8:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 6 to 9 p.m. or by appointment.
