Arrest made in St. Charles package thefts

A St. Charles man who police say stole packages from the doorsteps of as many as 15 different people was arrested last week, police said. On Wednesday, police were called to Blackhawk Trail for a suspicious person stealing packages from doorsteps, police said in a news release. Full story.

Couple charged after Crystal Lake drug raid

A Crystal Lake couple face numerous drug-related charges after a raid on their home. Police raided a home on the 500 block of Chardonnay Lane and turned up cocaine, prescription pills, marijuana and drug paraphernalia, police said. Full story.

Rosemont renews contract with mayor's brother

The village of Rosemont recently renewed the cleaning contract with the brother of Rosemont Mayor Brad Stephens. Bomark Cleaning, owned by Mark Stephens, has the janitorial contract with a number of village venues, including Allstate Arena and Rosemont Theatre. Full story.

Two Elgin men accused of breaking into cars early Monday morning have a bond hearing today in Rolling Meadows. Police arrested Paul D. McGinley, 23, and Codie P. Ingraffia, 22. Full story.
