GURNEE - Beer and burgers are center stage at Timothy O'Toole's Pub in Gurnee through November 16 during its Beer and Burger Bash featuring four specialty sandwiches paired with the pub's popular hand-crafted beers.
The special $15 offerings include:
- Dry-aged Beef Burger with bacon-onion marmalade and camembert on a brioche bun, paired with Delirium Tremmons.
- Wagyu Beef Sliders with bleu cheese and caramelized onions on Hawaiian bread paired with Surley Synical
- Organic Beef Bison Burger with pickled red onions, hickory-smoked bacon, and spicy watercress slaw paired with Surley "The Devil Work" Porter
- Fatty Melt Cab Burger with caramelized onions between two grilled cheese with tomato and bacon sandwiches paired with Three Floyds Alpha King.
Timothy O'Toole's Pub opened in Gurnee in 2009 just steps away from tourist favorites Six Flags Great America and Key Lime Cove. The suburban outpost of Chicago's legendary pub features 36 HD flat screens showing all major sporting events, 38 beers on tap, and numerous entertainment options including live music and karaoke. For game enthusiasts, Timothy O'Toole's Pub offers Golden Tee Live, two electronic dart boards and trivia.
