FREE Community Health Fair at Mundelein Park District
As temperatures decrease, increase your efforts to take care of yourself and your family with the help of Mundelein Park District's FREE Community Health Fair. Local businesses will be on hand offering free screenings, samples, demonstrations and tons of information on community resources to help you take better charge of your health. Representatives from Advocate Condell Medical Center (www.advocatehealth.com/condell), Agony of De-Feet (www.agonyofde-feet.com), Center for Wellness (www.centerforwellnessinc.com), Costco (www.costco.com), Corner Health Foods (www.cornerhealthfood.com), AbbVie, Inc. (www.abbvie.com), M & M Cyclery, Inc. (www.mmbikes.com), dōTerra (www.doterra.com), Mundelein Fire Department (www.mundeleinfire.org) , Pearle Vision (www.pearlevision.com), Weight Watchers (www.weightwatchers.com), Audibel Hearing (www.libertyvillehearing.com) and Mundelein Park District (www.mundeleinparks.org) will be some of the nearly 30 organizations on hand to inform you on how you can make positive changes in your life for optimal health.
While you're there, enter our raffle by taking a tour of our beautiful state-of-the-art Park View
Fitness Center. The facility offers the most up-to-date equipment from industry leaders such as Life Fitness®, Cybex®, and Precor®. A trained staff, convenient hours and affordable rates make Park View an ideal place to make a commitment to your health and fitness. Earn a second entry by having 12 participants sign your health fair card available at the fair entrance and depositing it in the raffle entry box. The prize is valued over $200!
Blood pressure testing, vision, hearing and cholesterol screenings, BMI and glucose testing are just a handful of the free services that will be available along with demonstrations and free samples of many products. Take part in Tai chi, Body Pump and Stretching demonstrations going on center-floor.
The fair is on Wednesday, November 12th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Mundelein Community Center, 1401 N. Midlothian Road (between Route 176 and Winchester Road) and is open to the public. Bring the family over- this event is for all ages! Working?
