BHS seeks local nonprofit to benefit from spring fundraiser
A student committee is searching for which local nonprofit organization should receive the proceeds of one of Barrington High School's largest fundraising campaigns.
The BHS "IT" Campaign is an all-school fundraiser that raises money for local nonprofit organizations. In the past, proceeds have gone to Barrington Youth and Family Services, Walk On Farm, Home of the Sparrow, Shelter, Inc., and Barrington Giving Day.
Local nonprofits have until the end of November to submit their one-page letter explaining how they would use the 2015 BHS "IT" Campaign funds. Interested groups are invited to email Paul Gillette, at PGillette@Barrington220.org, and Tim Martin, at Tmartin@Barrington220.org, by Nov. 30.
In order to be considered for the funding, groups must attach a copy of your 501(c)(3) form to the email.
