Country House Lisle to move to bigger location in November

Lisle, IL - The Country House Restaurant group, with locations in Clarendon Hills, Lisle, and Geneva, is pleased to announce the move of their Lisle restaurant to a freestanding location just west of their current location in Lisle.

The move comes at the same time that the restaurant group is celebrating its 40th anniversary. Dean Timson, co-owner said, "we are really excited to be celebrating our 40th year in business by moving our Lisle restaurant into a larger location." The current Lisle location will remain open during the construction, and is expected to close 1-2 weeks before the move in November.

The restaurant is currently located at 6460 College Road in Lisle and will be replacing the former Big Apple Pancake House at 2799 Maple Ave. in the Green Trails Shopping Center. The new space will allow for outdoor dining, catering, a private party and event room, and better visibility from the street.

Timson said he plans to open the doors at the new location November. The menu and hours will remain the same along with rustic décor and oak floors, but guests can expect an antique bar from Oskkosh circa 1922.
