Mattix Music Studios operates two music instruction facilities in Illinois: in west suburban Western Springs and in Sycamore, near DeKalb.

"Students find our lessons more fun and more productive because they're comfortable with the way they're learning," Mattix added. "Practice becomes much easier and students become proficient on their instruments quicker and more successfully."

Mastering more than music

The unique Mattix approach enables students to learn a great deal more than just music. "Our students develop self-discipline, artistry and confidence," said Mattix.

Clients strongly endorse the studio's teaching method. "The Mattix team will teach your child music--and some valuable life lessons as well," enthused Matt Kirby, whose daughter studies piano at the studio.

New website offers enhanced interactivity

In keeping with its mission of making music easy to learn, Mattix Music Studio is launching its new website on Sept. 4, 2014.

"We're very excited about our new site," Mattix reported. "It offers a lot of ways for our students to make the most of their learning experience. The site also provides a terrific introduction for new students or parents looking for the right music instruction for their child."

The website, mattixmusic.com, features information on lessons, teacher biographies, useful resources for students, a blog written by Dan Mattix, and much more.

"The site also spotlights our Music Together® program," said Katie Mattix who, in addition to teaching piano, violin and viola, serves as the studio's Music Together director. "Music Together is a great way to introduce your child to the magic of music. We offer classes for children up to age five and their caregivers."

Customized instruction for students of all ages

While many students are school-age children, more and more adults are realizing their lifelong dreams at Mattix Music Studio. "I've always wanted to learn to play piano, and Mattix Music Studio allows me to do that despite my very busy schedule," said Dr. Bryan Kruskol. "Learning how to play an instrument at my age has made me a better husband and father, and a more confident person."

"Music ought to be fun, and it's a lot more fun when you're successful," concluded Dan Mattix. "Our customized instruction helps students look forward to each lesson, enjoy practicing, and develop into confident, accomplished performers."
