Elgin

• Joseph P. Liss, 24, of the 300 block of Elm Street, Elgin, was charged Wednesday with theft, according to court records. He is accused of taking a Gucci wristwatch from a person June 27, police said. The watch is valued at more than $500. His bail was set at $30,000 in Kane County bond court, and his next court date is July 23.

West Dundee

• Vincent Bianchi, 20, of the 500 block of Cornish Way, Algonquin, was charged July 11 with possession of a fraudulent ID, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, operating an uninsured vehicle, failure to reduce speed and driving under the influence after police arrived on the scene of a hit-and-run accident on Route 72, according to West Dundee police. Bianchi was unable to post his bond of $10,000, and his next court date is July 18.
