Rock the Fox Music Festival kicks off Friday in Carpentersville

Odd Fellows Century Lodge 492 invites you to the Rock the Fox Music Festival from 5 to 11 p.m. Friday, June 27; 1 to 11 p.m. Sunday, June 28; and 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday, June 28, at Carpenter Park, Maple Avenue and Carpenter Boulevard in Carpentersville. Admission is $5 or free for kids under age 10.

This family-oriented music festival will feature rock, country, jazz and blues music with event coverage and support by radio station 103.9 FM, "The Fox."

It will also feature Windy City carnival rides and amusements, food vendors and a beer garden. On Saturday and Sunday, there will be an unlimited ride special for $25 per person from 1 to 5 p.m.

On Friday, the music will begin with Blue Line at 5 p.m., Universal Slim and the Blues Kangaroos at 6:30 p.m., Danny and the Devils at 8 p.m. and Phantom Soul at 9:30 p.m.

On Saturday, enjoy Sam the Guitar Man at 1 p.m., Bulletproof Band at 2 p.m., Rogue Radio at 3:30 p.m., Jimi Falls at 5 p.m., The Saloonatics at 6:30 p.m., HiFi Superstars at 8 p.m., and Platinum at 9:30 p.m.

On Sunday, the musical entertainment continues with The Ensemble Evolution Jazz Band at 1 p.m., Dickie Abbott Acoustic Show at 2 p.m., Ryland Acoustic Show at 3:30 p.m., White Saddle Band at 5 p.m., Phil from the Beatles Bros. and His Band at 6:30 p.m. All bands and times are subject to change.
