Bridges Montessori hosts farm dinner fundraiser in Elburn

Bridges Montessori Academy's May farm dinner at Heritage Prairie promises to be a night to remember as live music provided by Majors Junction and dancing are part of this year's lineup.

The public is invited to this farm event on Saturday, May 10, at Heritage Prairie, 2N308 Brundige Road, Elburn. Cocktails with a cash bar begin at 5:30 p.m. Dinner, dessert, music and dancing will follow. Tickets are $85 and must be purchased at heritageprairiefarm.com or by calling (630) 443-5989. All proceeds will benefit the children of Bridges.

As if the food and relaxed country atmosphere of Heritage Prairie weren't enough to entice you to the farm, Majors Junction guarantees to set the stage - and your feet - on fire.

Majors Junction is well known throughout Chicago for its diverse meld of country honky-tonk blues with folk undertones, hints of blue grass and good old rock 'n' roll. In fact, you may have seen the band at the House of Blues or at the Chicago Bluegrass and Blues Festival. If not, be sure to give their music a listen at majorsjunction.com.

Farm Dinners at Heritage Prairie have been a tradition since 2007. The chef delights in tailoring menus to highlight the best of the season's fresh flavors. All are welcome to this school benefit.
