Hobson School is a cooperative school that has been inspiring young children since 1964. The school sits on the edge of Goodrich Woods in Naperville's original one-room school house.

A one-of-a-kind preschool, Hobson was founded by parents who wanted to provide the best possible school experience for their 3- and 4-year-old children and for other children in the community. Since then, the school has grown to also include a 2-year-old program with parents.

The school's supporters believe an important part of preschool is to provide an experience-based environment where children have opportunities that support their creativity and expand their understanding of the world around them.

At Hobson, children participate in play-based educational programs, including outdoor exploration in a natural wooded environment.
