Local Band "A PALINODE" releases New Album on Itunes

Local Band "A Palinode" has newly released their Album "Corron Road". Their Album is a tribute to the same named Campton Hills back road that links the two band members' residences and has become a well-worn path between practice sessions and recordings. Long hours of composing, playing and recording took place in their mutual basements.

Lead singer and guitarist, Davis Cox, and, Keane O'Kelley, guitarist, keyboardist and backing vocals, formed the Folk-Rock band as a spin off from their previous Alternative Rock Band, 'Another Step Further'.

Each song on the Album is an original, lyrics written by Davis Cox and the music a collaboration by both members. Keane O'Kelley is the sound engineer. While the two are the primary members of the band, they have incorporated other contributing local talent on this album: percussionist Nick Borger of South Elgin, Andrew Stevens of Campton HIlls on Trumpet, and violinists, Emily and Sarah Fischer of Elgin.

Both Davis and Keane were active members of the St. Charles North High School Music Department and are recent Graduates currently attending St. Norbert College in Green Bay, WI (Davis) and Iowa State University in Ames, IA (Keane).
