Throughout the month of February, the adoption fee for black and black with white cats at Anderson Animal Shelter in South Elgin is reduced to $50 for qualified adopters.

Black cats are wonderful feline companions. They are sweet and loving, but often overlooked by adopters.

The $50 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, annual vaccinations, microchip identification, feline leukemia/feline immunodeficiency virus testing, deworming, collar, and an ID tag and a carrying case.

Anderson Animal Shelter is located at 1000 S. La Fox, South Elgin. For information, visit andersonanimalshelter.org or call (847) 697-2880, ext. 28.
