Schaumburg Older Adult Market Information for 2014

The Older Adult Market is a choice-style food pantry that distributes fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as shelf-stable food items to older adults in the community and their households.

The market is open from 1pm until 2:30pm (or until the food runs out) on alternating Fridays and are held at the Schaumburg Barn, 231 S. Civic Drive in Schaumburg. Participants must sign in to the market and acknowledge that they are 60-years of age or older, but no ID or other documents are required.

A caregiver may pick up food for those who are unable to travel, after a proxy letter is signed. These letters are available at the market. For more information, contact Marina Lvovich at 847.524.7496 or the Greater Chicago Food Depository at 773.248.FOOD.
