‘Fill the Truck’ toy drive at Walmart Saturday
Walmart and The Salvation Army host a “Fill the Truck” toy drive in Lake County on Saturday, Dec. 7. Walmart customers can drop off new, unwrapped toys to the truck that will be parked in Walmart parking lots from noon to 7 p.m. Lake County’s Fill the Truck toy drive is part of a nationwide effort on weekends through Dec. 15 in 1,600 Walmart stores. The toy drive will bring hundreds of thousands of toys to children across the country. Toy donations will be accepted at the following area Walmarts: 475 East Route 173, Antioch; 6590 Grand Ave., Gurnee; 2680 N. Route 83, Round Lake Beach; 555 E. Townline Road, Vernon Hills; 3900 Fountain Square Plaza, Waukegan.
