Kaneland superintendent nominated for membership to Suburban School Superintendents

Kaneland Unit District 302 is pleased to announce the nomination of its superintendent, Dr. Jeff Schuler, to the membership of Suburban School Superintendents.

Suburban School Superintendents is limited in its membership to a maximum of 100 active superintendents across the nation from preeminent suburban school districts.

Founded 48 years ago, its purpose is “to improve the quality of educational opportunities, programs and services for children, staff and parents in the member districts.” This is accomplished primarily by pooling ideas and information from its membership, both through its regular meetings and through informal contacts throughout the school year. It counts many former presidents and officers of the American Association School Administrators, as well as the nationally-selected Superintendents of the Year among its 100 members.

“Dr. Schuler's nomination and election bespeak the high regard in which he is held as a school district leader, both regionally and in the country at large. The Kaneland District congratulates him on the honor of this selection, and we offer him our full support to participate fully with his nationally known colleagues in this important means of enhancing educational quality for our Kaneland students and community. We share in the pride of this recognition,” said Cheryl Krauspe, Kaneland Board of Education president.
