Warren, Lakers think pink at the rink

Two rival high school hockey teams plus one great cause will equal a win/win for everyone at Rink Side Hockey Arena in Gurnee Mills.

Warren and the Lakers hockey club will be hitting the ice for a regular-season game, while also joining forces to raise money for the Avon Walk for breast cancer. The “Pink Out” game faces off at 5:20 p.m. Saturday. The event will also include a bake sale and raffles. Players will “pink out” with pink tape and accessories to show their support of the cause.
