Costume Contest at the Fox Valley Concert Band Halloween Concert
Every person who comes in costume to the Fox Valley Concert Band Halloween Concert on Saturday, October 26th at 3:00 pm will be treated to a pumpkin gourd provided by Goebbert's Pumpkin Patch. The concert, held at the Kaneland High School Auditorium, features the Fox Valley Concert Band, a band filled with professional and amateur musicians from the Fox Valley area.
The Fox Valley Concert Band will be performing music of the season such as Funeral March of a Marionette, Witches of Eastwick, and Harry Potter Symphonic Suite. Bring the whole family for a delightful and spooktacular afternoon. Winners of the costume contest will win a prize. The event is approximately 90 minutes in length and appropriate for all ages.
Ticket prices are $8 for students/senior citizens, $10 for adults, and $25 for the popular Family Ticket, which admits all family members living in one household for the single price of $25.00. Preschoolers are free. Tickets can be purchased from a Fox Valley Concert Band member or through the Kaneland Arts Initiative via phone (630-365-5100, ext. 180) or email (kaitickets@kaneland.org). The box office of the Kaneland Arts Initiative can only accommodate cash or checks (payable to “KHS-FAF”).
