Grayslake police have issued an alert following what they say may be related incidents, including one involving a boy who plays football. Officials said the alert was distributed Thursday to the Grayslake Elementary District 46 community. Cops said a man was seen following a player on the Grayslake Colts youth football squad as he was walked home from practice on an unspecified day. A man fitting the same description was also seen earlier this week at Route 83 and Highland Road in Grayslake. The man is described as in his late 20s with long black hair and an olive-white complexion. He is further described as having a thin build, between 5 feet 9 inches and 6 feet tall. If you have any information, contact the Grayslake Police Department at (847) 223-2341.
