Fishing Derby Sept. 14 in Mount Prospect

The Mount Prospect Park District brings recreational fishing to youngsters, ages 4 to 14, from 9-11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14, at Robert T. Jackson Clearwater Park.

The fishin’ hole will be stocked with bluegill and catfish sure to be hungry for a breakfast of tasty worms.

The fee per child is $7 for residents and $12 for nonresidents. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Bait will be provided. Bring your own rod, reel and tackle.

Clearwater Park is near the intersection of Golf and Busses roads in Mount Prospect. For additional information call (847) 298-3500.
