Stellar musical line-up set for Taste of Highland Park

Celebrate the last days of summer at the Port Clinton Art Festival and the 7th annual Taste of Highland Park in downtown Highland Park. The festival weekend kicks off with the Taste of Highland Park at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 23 and continues with exquisite art, rockin' music and delicious food on Saturday, August 24 from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM and Sunday, August 25 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Best known for the signature dishes served by Highland Park's most notable restaurants, the Taste of Highland Park also welcomes a sensational line-up of bands and musicians who perform on the Main Stage throughout the weekend. Festival-goers of all ages will enjoy an incredible line-up, including family-friendly performances by Jersey Voice, Million Dollar Quartet, Eric Stang, and more!

Other noteworthy acts on Friday and Saturday night, including the “get up off your seats” weekend headliner 16 Candles, include:

Friday, August 23 from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM:

11:00 AM – Cirrus Falcon: Rock out to classic rock, alternative, acoustic rock, Irish favorites, Jimmy Buffet tunes, country, 60's/70's/80's retro and more!

4:00 PM – Eric Stang: A native of Highland Park, Eric Stang will be entertaining the crowd with blues and rock.

6:00 PM – A Jersey Voice: Featuring song selections from the 1940s through today,

A Jersey Voice's set list includes songs made popular by artists such as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen and Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.

8:00 PM – Sugar High: Put on your dancing shows for this high energy band, which plays everyone's favorite hits from the past 40 years.

Saturday, August 24 from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM:

10:00 AM – Brad Cole & Friends: Brad Cole will be playing hits from his recently released third solo album, Down The Line, which captures a soulful American sound.

12:00 PM – Million Dollar Quartet: The cast of the hit Broadway show Million Dollar Quartet will perform songs made famous by Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Johnny Cash.

1:00 PM – Brad Cole & Friends

4:00 PM – Great Divide: Made up of Highland Park natives, Great Divide will play their original rock n' roll hits.

6:00 PM – Gone 2 Paradise: Gone 2 Paradise, the ultimate Jimmy Buffet cover band, will be performing hit songs that span Jimmy Buffet's entire career.

8:00 PM – WEEKEND HEADLINER 16 Candles: Dance and sing along to all your favorite 80's music with this fun-loving band.

The Taste of Highland Park runs in conjunction with the world renowned Port Clinton Art Festival. For 30 years, the Port Clinton Art Festival has been recognized as one of the most successful juried art festivals in the country. Currently rated as the number five art festival in the country, the Port Clinton Art Festival offers fine art from more than 260 of the world's most celebrated artists. More than 250,000 art enthusiasts travel from places near and far to visit this distinguished outdoor festival annually. Throughout the weekend, festival-goers will have the opportunity to enjoy art activities for kids, including an art scavenger hunt, interactive art demos and, of course, original artwork offered by master artists from around the world.

The Taste opens Friday, August 23 at 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM and continues Saturday, August 24 from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, as well as Sunday, August 25 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The Port Clinton Art Festival takes place on Saturday, August 24 and Sunday, August 25 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
