Chicago Swordplay Guild to Demonstrate at Library

Adults and students in grades seven and up are invited to learn about the weapons and styles of sword fighting in the “Chicago Swordplay Guild Demonstration” from 7-8:30 p.m., Thursday, July 11 in the Rasmussen Room of the Schaumburg Township District Library, 130 S. Roselle Rd., Schaumburg. Registration is required for this free program.

Since 1999, the Chicago Swordplay Guild has offered students a chance to study historical European swordplay, grappling and armored combat in an organized curriculum. During this program, members will demonstrate and explain weapon usage.
