Algonquin

• A 16-year-old boy from West Dundee was charged with theft of less than $300 May 15, police said. He turned himself into Algonquin police and was later released to his parents.

• Naomi Tuggle, 45, of the 1800 block of Van Dyke Lane, Carpentersville, was charged with retail theft May 14 after her arrest at Kohl's on the 700 block of South Randall Road, according to a police report. She was released on her signature and is due in court June 19 in McHenry County.

• A 15-year-old boy from Lake in the Hills was arrested May 14 at the Meijer store on the 400 block of South Randall Road and charged with retail theft, police said. He was referred to the Tri County Area Peer Jury and later released to his parents.
