Kids Can Get Creative with Poetry during Unique Library Program

Children ages 9 to 14 can get creative with poetry and magnets in “Magnetic Poetry Tins” from 4-4:30 p.m., Monday, April 8 in the Craft Room of the Schaumburg Township District Library (STDL), 130 S. Roselle Rd., Schaumburg.

After crafting their magnetic poetry, participants can store their magnetic words in the tin, or use it to display their poetry creations. The magnetic words may also be used on a refrigerator, locker or other magnetic surface. Registration is required and participants must be STDL cardholders.
