Texas Hold’em Poker funds community programs

The Barrington Lions Club held a charitable Texas Hold’em tournament, in February, at Docks Restaurant in Wauconda.

Proceeds from the tournament help fund community programs such as eye glasses for needy children in school District 220, hearing aid assistance for senior citizens, college scholarship’s for Barrington High School seniors and scholarships for Troop 21 Eagle Scouts.

The next Barrington Lions Club Texas Hold’em Tournament will be held Saturday, April 27, at Docks Restaurant, 313 E. Liberty St., in Wauconda.
