Roselle Park District to host Annual Dine N' Dash on April 27, 2013
Iron up your stomachs and lace up your running shoes. Get ready for Dine N' Dash!
This event combines food and relay racing that will test appetites and endurance. Sign up your four person team for this exciting, unique team relay race and eating competition! The first three team members will have the daunting task of individually completing a 5K run followed by consuming one of the local dishes from Brunch Café, Serino's, and The Italian Pizza Kitchen. To finish the race, the fourth team member (who does not run) must devour a plate of spaghetti and marinara sauce from Impecca, followed by a giant, ice cream covered chocolate chip Rooskie from Roosters Barn and Grill. Oh, and did we mention, the closer can't use their hands?! All participants will receive a Dine N' Dash 2013 commemorative t-shirt, a doggie bag with vendor giveaways and coupons. Trophies will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams who complete the Dine N' Dash with the fastest times. No on-site registration will be accepted. Saturday, April 27 at 9:00 am, twenty teams of four will line up by the start line at the Clauss Recreation Center, 555 W. Bryn Mawr Ave., Roselle, Illinois.
