For the second time in a month, vandals have targeted windows at the Wheeling Township Democratic Party office, 1310 Northwest Hwy., in Arlington Heights, but the organization's president doubts the damage is motivated by politics.

After midnight on Monday, vandals shattered two 6-foot by 6-foot front windows at the office and one 6-foot by 6-foot window at a garage sale business at the same address between midnight and 6 a.m. March 4. Damage was estimated at $1,500. On Feb. 5, a vandal hurled a brick that cracked a 6-foot by 6-foot window at the party office.

The group's president, Rob Nesvacil, said that because two offices were struck this time and because there was a prior instance of vandalism to the multi-tenant building's lobby, "I don't think this vandalism is anything related to politics."
