Mt. Prospect Park District hires new director

The Mount Prospect Park District has hired a new executive director. Gregory Kuhs, currently the executive director of the Wood Dale Park District, will take over the Mount Prospect post on March 30.

Kuhs has an MBA from Webster University in St. Louis and a B.A. in Recreation Administration from the University of Wisconsin at LaCrosse. He has worked at numerous suburban park districts, including districts in Addison, Prospect Heights and Deerfield. He has served as chair of the Northeast DuPage Special Recreation Association and chair of the Northwest Special Recreation Association.

Kuhs will replace longtime Mount Prospect Park District CEO Walter Cook, who is retiring at the end of March.
