United Way needs volunteers:

The United Way of Lake County is seeking volunteers to assist at kindergarten registrations in Waukegan and Round Lake. Volunteers will distribute calendars and workbooks and sign up families for Early Learning Clubs. Volunteers are needed from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 23 and March 16 at Thomas Jefferson Middle School in Waukegan. Volunteers also are needed from 4 to 7 p.m. March 7 at the Round Lake Early Education Center and from 3 to 6 p.m. March 13 and April 18 at John T. Magee Middle School in Round Lake. Spanish speaking volunteers are especially needed, but not necessary. Contact Jennifer.Little@uwlakeco.org or call (847) 775-1057.
