Registration for Lake Villa Township Baseball is open until Feb. 24 ahead of player ratings on March 2 and 3. Anyone interested in managing or coaching this spring should have their child registered by Feb. 17 in order to be considered for a position. There are still openings at all age groups. Interested residents can register online at www.lvtb.org. The league accepts cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, and PayPal. With more than 1,000 participants aged between 5 and 17, LVTB hosts one of Lake County's premier baseball and softball programs. The league has access and maintains more than 20 baseball and softball fields in Lake Villa and Lindenhurst, including the main baseball complex on Grass Lake Road in Lake Villa. LVTB does not have resident restrictions.
